Following several atrocities and hate crimes aimed at Asian Americans throughout 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, pan-Asian music label 88rising decided to host a virtual benefit concert in honour of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPIHM).

Teaming up with Netflix and AT&T, they produced a star-studded roster of intimate musical performances, poetry readings, and meditation sessions as acts of healing, solidarity, and celebration, with 100% of proceeds going to charity. The role was to write the introductory and departing messages from K-pop artist and concert host, CL.
